We've all heard that sentence they say "life isn't a straight line. Yeah, I get you but then let me introduce you to someone that makes the crooked ways straight. A lot of people don't recognize his voice and they take him as the liar but meanwhile He's the main truth teller.

Before I made the final decision of going for the outreach in January, I had a lot of thoughts going through my mind. Asides my thoughts, The liar came to me. He initiated a conversation with me and I also entertained him.

The Liar: Temi, you and I know you don't have what it it takes.

Temi: Ahhh... And it's true ooo

The Liar: You don't even have money,

Temi: Omo... I'm just too broke.

The Liar: You sef... You too dey dream far oo

Temi: wo... It's something I wish to do.

The Liar: when you don't have what it takes nko

Temi: ehnn... Maybe i should just leave it after all, I don't have the resources.

After the conversation with The liar, I slept off.

While sleeping, The Truth Teller woke me up gently and He said to me "Temi you can do all things through ME who gives you strength. Be anxious for nothing but in everything with prayer supplication and thanksgiving, make your request known unto ME, For I shall supply all your needs.

After his reassurance, He left.

It was at that point I knew who the Liar was and who the Truth teller was. So I had to follow every instruction the Truth teller told me and to the glory of God, the outreach was a success.

Why this story??

I just want to remind you that there is The liar and The Truth Teller.

The Liar wants you to stay in a cage where he thinks it is safe, but The Truth Teller wants you to soar.

The Liar wants you to believe that you can't do it. The Truth Teller wants you to know and understand that you can do all things through Christ.

The Liar wants you to worry about tomorrow. The Truth Teller say, Be anxious for nothing.

The Liar wants you to think you're foolish, but the Truth Teller says you're wise and smart.

If you let the liar continue shooting the arrow, You will end up like him and be the Liar that will try pivoting other people's lives because you ended up as a victim of the liar. Stop listening to the liar and follow the wisdom of the Truth teller.

The Truth Teller is here with you to make the crooked ways straight.

He's not promising that it will be a smooth ride, but His promise is that you will get to your destination. The Truth Teller is Jesus. Follow him today and you won't regret it.

Because we are created in His image, we can serve as the Truth Teller in someone's life whereby we remind them of the words of the Truth Teller.

My dear, don't tremble in fear when the liar comes but battle him with a humble confidence. Stop listening to the Liar today and you will unravel a new dimension of yourself.
